Scout Leaders and Venturers form a team. The Leader is a coach giving assistance when asked and guiding when required. We know we are successful when Venturers acquire skills and assistance from the Scout Leader becomes less frequent. Leadership training is the next step. 3rd year Venturers moving into Rover sections will be ready to help the leadership team at the Beaver and Cub Level. What do you want to do? Maybe you'd like to be a police officer, firefighter, or paramedic. In Venturers, you can "try on" different exciting career options to see what's right for you. Scouting is a family-based organization. Activities we offer, plus the value and skills we provide, are aimed at supporting your efforts to teach your child what is needed to become a well-rounded person. Your personal involvement is important to help reinforce the lessons your Venturer learns. After learning a bit about Venturers, your Venturer will become ready to become "invested", or formally welcomed into the Company. You will be invited to attend the "Investiture Ceremony" to help welcome your Venturer into the Venturer Company. |

A smart successful Venturer Company wears complete uniform with distinction and commitment. When everyone is in uniform, a Company quickly comes together as a unit. |
